Dr. Kenny Doig, is Clinical Director at Long Sutton Dentistry which involves overseeing all things clinical within the practice and generally helping with management duties to ensure the smooth running of the business.
Away from dentistry Kenny likes nothing more than cycling around Lincolnshire and further afield when time allows. He has taken part in many challenges including Lands End to John O’Groats and most recently cycled 300 miles in 24 hours in aid of The Brain Tumour Charity.
He is married to Jude (who you will meet on reception) and has two grown up children, Cameron and Beth. Following in her Dad’s footsteps, Beth is now the hygienist and therapist at Long Sutton Dentistry.
Experience
Kenny trained at Dundee Dental School, qualifying in 1988. He has worked mostly in Boston and set up Long Sutton Dentistry with Sam since 2013.
He has lectured to trainee dental nurses and delivered a series of seminars on infection control for the BDA. At Sheffield Dental School he has helped oversee undergraduate dentists, hygienists and therapists in their training to join the profession.
Along the way Kenny undertook further graduate training and holds a Diploma in Restorative Dentistry and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and now mentors and assesses dentists who wish to become Fellows.
